MY 20 YEARS PREPARATION

I began my journey in non-duality training in 2001 with Amoda Ma in London, UK, engaging in Osho Sanyasin practices. From 2003 to 2005, I undertook residential training with Osho in Pune, India, where I became a Sanyasin and received the name Bodhi Shakya. In 2004, I resided with my root teacher Neeru in Arambol, India, who offered me my first glimpse of my true nature. Between 2005 and 2008, I trained at Humaniversity in the Netherlands under Veeresh, exploring human potential and consciousness, and took the name Yogesh. In 2006, I trained with disciples of Wangdor Rinpoche in Rishikesh, India, focusing on Dzogchen teachings. The following year, I was introduced to Longchenpa by these disciples, who became my Guru through the teachings of "The Precious Treasure of the Basic State," which I lived by daily for 10 years and continue to revisit today.

In 2011, I attended workshops and satsangs with Rupert Spira in London, UK, which focused on the direct path to non-dual awareness. By 2014, I deepened my Dzogchen practices and understanding in India. In 2017, I attended satsang with Mooji in Rishikesh, India, learning to meet each person where they are in their journey. Between 2018 and 2019, I lived in Chiang Mai with Ani Zamba, a Tibetan nun and senior disciple of Wangdor Rinpoche, who taught me to teach with simplicity. During this period, I took the name Jogananda to honor my mother’s last name, Bliss, and to commit to my teachings. After Ani Zamba passed away in December 2023, I became a teacher in Chiang Mai in 2019, although COVID-19 paused my teaching soon after it began. During the pandemic, I was guided by "The Absolute" and deepened my commitment to teaching, which fully manifested in 2024 when I began teaching full-time as Joe Best Bliss, both online and offline. That same year, I launched Jogananda Reggae Enthused Mantra Songs, with my first Kirtan already booked. Stay tuned for more.
